Baiastice's New Release

I went to see a fashion show yesterday where I saw many of the new releases from Baiastice that we could look forward to as we approach the fall season. And I have to say, there were so many that I wanted!

Right now, there are two, out of all the new designs, that can be purchased in Sissy's store and this is one of them. It's called "Tea at 5 O'Clock". What a sweet name!

It comes with a long (below knee length) skirt and a short skirt, as well as two different hats. There are also two types of prim collars which you will have to switch as one of them is a double collar and will interfere with the broad brimmed hat.

The outfit has so much details in the texture. It's white decorated with tiny pink flowers. Perfect for a gorgeous picnic on a sweet and sunny afternoon or a high tea party complete with cucumber sandwiches, scones with strawberry jam and devonshire cream.

The sweet basket I have in the pictures is also a part of the set, adding so much charm.

The harpsicords in the background are all antique French style harpsicords, made with such exquisite details. You can play them yourself or have them auto-play a total of 6 tunes for you from different composers. I heard that all tunes were recorded from real antique harpsicords for these SL versions so what more can you ask! I must say, I am so in love with them!

And these are the two hats that you get with the set.

Lovely Colours from Freda Fashion

I came across this lovely and charming outfit from Freda's Fine Fashion. I have posted Freda's outfit recently and I know it hasn't been long, but I just love the colours she uses. True, sometimes I feel like wearing just black but there are days when I just feel like "I want colours!!"

I had lots of fun with the different skirt lengths she had in the set. All prim skirts come with scripted skirts which you can use to adjust its position when you sit as well as non-scripted skirts for those people who can't be bothered and prefer to just wear it without the hassle.

Other great colours were available for this outfit too which were all as lovely. So....after going back and forth for god know how long.....unable to make up my mind, I ended up getting this colour as well as the turquoise one in the same design.

I wanted a bit of "cute-ness" to the look, so I matched it up with a sweet platformed pumps from Tesla.

Outfit: Freda's Fine Fashion, Freda's mod.064 flowerpattern dress original

From summer to autumn in one hour at Kyoot Army!!

WOW!!  i havent got so excited about a shopping visit for oooooooooh erm ok about a day, but i came away from Kyoot Army a very excited girl........  i went from summer to autumn to rehab in a very short space of time.... here's how i did it!

i found this really cute little red and white striped bikini that also comes in loads of different colours and stripes.  then i saw a really cute thin duo coloured belt which i thought added a quirky little touch - just dont sunbathe with that on!  then i just had to add my new favourite item - the wide hat from cubic effect - i have one in black but i had to run to the shop (in my undies) to grab a red one just for this.  and then i added these really cute shoes from TOSL in red with white dots.  then i ran to chouchou to catch some rays and some solitude.

bikini and belt:  Kyoot Army
shoes:  TOSL
skin:  Blowpop
hair: Detour

then after getting a little chilly when the sun went down, and moving into Autumn (Fall) mode i came across this really cute jacket and skirt number....  the jacket has an amazing detail to the collar area, with KA's signature one sided shoulder piece.  this would work great with jeans, trousers and all manner of skirts.... i then teamed it with the new KA hair.....

and i cant resist showing it with this hair too from Bish....... not my usual style, but love the hat part... its fitting for my autumnal look...

jacket: Kyoot Army
skirt (just seen):  Kyoot Army
stockings:  Chambre du Chocolat
hair: (first pic) Kyoot Army, (second pic) Bish
skin: Blowpop

then for my next look, this is Clara being taken away to a padded cell and locked away for a few days to ease the pain of her credit card... rehab needed....

Kyoot Army call this 'Straight Jacket Surrealist'.  no other explanation need really for this one.  although a little tip - dont wear this to the supermarket!  again with the signature one-sided collar detail, this is a nod to the Wilted Wednesday outfit that Minnu Palen adopted for her Mourning Dress.  Looks great with the Dahlia skin from MiaSnow.

dress:  Kyoot Army
boots:  Stiletto Moody
hair: Maitreya
skin: MiaSnow
jewellery:  RYCA

Once released from rehab, i needed something to hide myself away a little, and this outfit does the trick perfectly!

a beautiful sheer top with attached hood, and attached hair!  very light and sexy, but hides a multitude of sins!  teamed with these georgous 'pantaloons' and my favourite Pornstar boots, sling on the shades and out i go....... of course the car screeching past me into a pile up didnt do much for the nerves, so had a little sit down,  a time to think ......

top, hood and hair:  Kyoot Army
pants:  Kyoot Army

it took me a while to get over this shopping trip which lead to rehab then witnessing a car accident.  so i took to hiding in hoodies for a while longer......

except this time, you'll be pleased to know, it didnt cost me anything.  yes this little gem can be picked up for free, yes thats a FREEBIE! from Bewitched Hair.  i love the way the hair pokes right out of the hood.

hood, hair and jumper:  Bewitched Hair
shades:  Armidi Gisaci 'Aviators'
skin:  Blowpop

A Cute Summer Casual Look - FTV Military Drama

I love FTV (Frozen Turquoise Valentine)!!!! The range of outfits Valenttina has in her store is astounding....anything from gorgeous gowns to really stylish casual looks! I have to admit, I do tend to have more of the formal outfits but I also enjoy her casual line. They are casual but yet with a touch of difference.

AND.....she has just renewed her store!!! By the way, there is a treasure hunt going on both for men and women so if you haven't gone down to her new store yet, go now before the hunt ends!

I got this really cute casual set the day I visited her new store. She said she will launch new items soon, so maybe I should have waited but I how could I? So here it is.......Military Drama. What a great name too.

I wanted to give it a bit autumn like look too. Yes, yes, I know it's still summer but hey, fashionistas are supposed to catch the seasons early, right? And we have to look as if it's cool outside even if we're thinking "damn it's so hot". So the colour I chose to match was purple. This hair from Bishwear Scandal comes with this cute cap but it's originally white. So I changed the colour in edit to match it with this above-knee length socks I got at a Japanese store, "sey". It's a great pair of socks to wear with boots.

For boots, a dark coloured boots would look way too hot for this season, so I went with these white stompy boots and changed the colour of it's shoe lace to light blue. It comes with a HUD where you can choose the shoe lace colour from 6 colours. Nice!

The great thing about this outfit is that I think it can be styled to be very dressy too depending on what you match it up with. Maybe I should try that next time just to see how different I can style this. That would be great fun! Oh well, for today, I just didn't feel like dressing up, so I had my mind set on a casual look even before I wore this. So here it is, the casual version of Military Drama.

Outfit: FTV (Frozen Turquoise Valentine), Military Drama
Above-knee length sock: sey, high sox (purple)
Boots: Shiny Things, Ribbon Boots - white
Hair & cap: Bishwear~Scandal, Chal fat (black)
Nails: Armidi, True Enhance、Painted Nails (Lavender III)

I Love Hats!

I am sure everybody has textures they like. Some like leopard skin texture (well, I guess a LOT do) and some like zebra, polka dots or simple stripes. In my case, it's peacock feather. I don't know why, but I am always fascinated by peacock feather.

So I had this gown from Vanity Affairs for as long as I remember. It's always been my favorite no matter how many times I wear it!

And today, I came across a wonderful hat shop which I am ashamed to admit, I had never visited before. And I am an avid hat fan!! I am pretty sure I own a lot of, if not most of, the couture hats that exist in SL, and yet I hadn't visited this one.

It's called Hatpins and the hats Reghan
Straaf designs and creates have such awesome detail that I fell in love the moment I saw her store. Her hats are designed to match more antique style or Victorian style gowns but simply because I probably wear "regular" gowns and dresses more frequently, I decided that I wanted to use her hats with these "non-Victorian" outfits too.

This charming hat is called Lady Isabelle and comes in many colour variations but what is the same with all the colour variation is that they all have three peacock feathers attached to the back of the hat.

Yes PEACOCK!!
So here it is...another exciting way to wear this gown that I have worn in so many different ways.

Reghan has three stores but here, I will embed the surl for her main store where she has all her hats on display. This is a must store to check out for all those fashionistas who like hats!

And of course, the skin used is my fav skin when I want to play with colours, Lion Skins. I just love the colours of eye shadow available!

Beach Resort Party

OK I admit, I want to go to a beach resort like Hawaii, Bali..where ever! Unfortunately, I don't have any plans now and I know that it'll soon be too late to plan anything and summer will be over......

Oh well....at least I'll pretend I went to a beach resort.

So here is a look for a romantic night by the pool side in a beach resort hotel. I might order some tropical drink and listen to the waves with somebody I love dearly. It was a dress I found at Shouted Couture which was probably not designed for beaches. But look how it can be worn is such a situation.

The whole outfit is sheer lace! I almost felt bare without the prim lace skirt but once you attach the skirt, it turns into a lovely and charming party outfit. And the prim skirt sways beautifully as you dance.

I matched it up with some tropical looking jewelry and a pair of casual sandals that are were not flip flops to give it a bit more dressy feel to it than plain flip flops. Put on some darker toned skin than what I usually wear and I'm all set to go to the poolside.

All I need now is a plane ticket, a hotel reservation and a vacation......*sigh*

Dress: Shouted Couture, Zaphyra Red Pack 20 Luglio
Necklace: plus, Africa Necklace Bronze
