Unique Designs From Finesmith Jewelry For A Fun Look

The latest release from Finesmith Jewelry is a very avant garde set called "O Collection 03" which combines gems and metal to create a very unique design. Of course, you don't have to buy all three pieces as a set and you can buy all the pieces separately or use it as a complete set. Here I used all three: necklace, bracelet and earrings but wore only one of the bracelets on one wrist instead of both right and left wrists. The gems are colour change, allowing the set to be used with different coloured outfits.

Finesmith Jewelry - O Collection 03

The jewelry set is really amazing but because of the impact it has, it can clash with a likewise impactful outfit and end up being a bit too much. So I chose to wear something modern and sharp, while not being too "loud".

The boots I chose are from the latest collection from Paper Couture and although these boots do also have some impact, it is far enough from the jewelry pieces not to interfere too much and I like how it adds some fun to the entire look.

The short pants are from Miamai and it comes with a micro short version, a slightly longer version and also a silver underpants layer panty that I am wearing here. Here I am wearing the slightly longer version so you can tell how micro short the short version is!

The theme was a fun club look that I can wear to go dancing. :)

Necklace, bracelet & earrings: Finesmith Jewelry, O Collection 03
Corset: Dreams, Animal Print Corset (cheetah dark black)
Short pants: Miamai, Hotpants 01 (steel)
Boots: Paper Couture, Typhoon Boots (purple)
Hair: Maitreya, Aisha II (ebony)

Elegant Pink - Did You Think Pink Was Girly?

OK I admit. I love pink although I don't necessarily love "girly" fashion. I think pink is a colour that can be used not only as a sweet, cute, girly colour but as an elegant "add-on" colour. It is a magic colour that can be added to many, but my favorite has always been gray and pink. I think this combination is clean, elegant and classy.

However, sometimes this "gray" doesn't necessarily have to be flat gray.

Here, I tried adding a twist to my favorite colour combination by using a dress that was not really gray but black and white and I think you will all agree with me that it still works as a great "add-on" colour.

The dress I used here is from Atelier La Bubu, which was having a discount sale and I got this sweet outfit for a discounted price of 160L. Atelier La Bubu is a small but attractive store with well made outfits that speaks quality. For example, this dress may not be a unique shape but the skirt has been carefully tailored so that the back side is slightly more long and poofy whereas the front is made to be more flat. As a result, you get a very nice shape of the skirt which is something you don't get with dresses made with skirts that are made the same 360 degrees.

I added pink by using a fur shrug that Bliss Couture has released, socks and a hot pink shoulder bag which was an important element to this look. Just imagine, if this bag had been a similar soft pink, the whole look will look very blurred and weak in impression. However, by adding this hot pink as a focus or spice, the entire look became much sharper.

I must add that this shrug has been nothing but great for me. While many jackets or coats are longer, this bolero type short length has been more than valuable as I can add it to pants, jeans, skirts, dresses, even long gowns without worrying about what I will wear under it. More importantly, it works with most outfits. :)

The pink socks I used here was one that came in a pack of eight colours. What is great about this set is that with eight lovely coloured socks, all you have to pay is 50L! It comes from a Japanese store called PicoPure Charmmy that actually sells a lot of lolita/anime type outfits. I am sure it will make those you like lolita type dresses drool but even if you are not particularly a lolita fashion fan, this set of socks is without doubt, worth investing 50L.

The part I was most indecisive when styling was shoes. I had to try various shades of pink, gray in all types of footwear such as pumps, long boots and ankle boots. But I wasn't happy with any of the combination until I pulled out this pair of mid-length boots that had a colour that fell in-between pink and gray called Powder Pink. This seemed to work best without stealing focus from the hot pink purse that I used as my focus for this particular look.

To complete this fun but elegant look, I used a new hair released by 69 which is a long (but not too long) natural looking hair with soft waves.

I Love Leather!

It's getting almost cold where I live and I'm starting to wear some winter clothes. One item I like is leathers especially those that have that couture touch.

The leather jacket and low rise pants that I am wearing today comes from Ranena Olivier Couture. I just love the design and also this colour which is a rather unique and delicate colour for leathers.

Ranena Olivier Couture - Leather Jacket and Pants in Grape

The jacket has a high rise collar that adds to its elegance with rather big cuffs at the end of the sleeves. It also comes with a belt which I wore today but it also works if you don't wear the belt, keeping the jacket very simple. Then you can wear your own belt at a low position to give it a totally different image with a more casual look. The pants come in long pants as well as short pants but since it's getting cold, I thought the long version will be more suited to be worn now.

Although I hardly ever wear belly rings, I decided to wear this sweet belly ring that has a star hanging from it that comes from Twisted and Spoiled. It's colour changing so it can be added as a cute addition to looks where your belly button will be showing.

I also matched up a pair of big sunglasses from DeLa. This comes in 6 different colours with 4 lens colours each and you get ones that you wear over your eyes as well as one that can be worn on your head, as I am doing here. What I loved about this is that it is attached to your nose when worn over your eyes but the one that you wear on your head is attached to your mouth. This means that when the sunglasses are not covering your eyes, you don't have to worry about your prim eye lashes being removed. Of course, you can re-attach the sunglasses to your mouth yourself but all the more better if it's all done for you!

Leather Jacket: Ranena Olivier Couture, Urban Leather Jacket Grape
Leather Pants: Ranena Olivier Couture, Urban Leather Low Rise Pants Grape
Sunglasses: DeLa, Sunglasses "RG1" Pearl Pink Lens on Head (worn on mouth)
Belly Ring: Twisted & Spoiled, Lucky Star Belly Ring (colour change)
Shoes: Maitreya, Slinky Stilettos (purple)
Hair: Armidi, The Short V (Midnight I)

ALB Dream Fashion - DIOR Impression Cloud

The other day I posted about AnaLee Balut's DIOR Impression Flower Set, which was a lovely pink gown in the Runway magazine blog. Today, I have one from the same series but this time, it's a set called DIOR Impression Cloud. A dainty white gown with a touch of smokey lilac and a hem that's not as long as a full gown makes this a somewhat nostalgic piece. As I said in my previous post, gowns in this series by AnaLee are all inspired by the great designs of DIOR but each one is different and that's what makes it so interesting.

It was such a tough decision to choose which one I wanted with so many lovely gowns to choose from and I had the toughest time. After lingering around for so long, I finally decided to get two, which was the Flower gown and this Cloud. I liked the nostalgic feel this dress had while still good for any party.

The Chi Chi Pumps in cream colour from Maiiki Maitreya were a perfect match with its off white colour and smokey lilac trimmings. It was almost as if these shoes were made for this dress.

I also wore some sweet flower jewelry also from ALB Dream Fashion since I didn't think gorgeous gems will suit this dress and I wanted to play up on its dainty image.

From summer to autumn in one hour at Kyoot Army!!

WOW!!  i havent got so excited about a shopping visit for oooooooooh erm ok about a day, but i came away from Kyoot Army a very excited girl........  i went from summer to autumn to rehab in a very short space of time.... here's how i did it!

i found this really cute little red and white striped bikini that also comes in loads of different colours and stripes.  then i saw a really cute thin duo coloured belt which i thought added a quirky little touch - just dont sunbathe with that on!  then i just had to add my new favourite item - the wide hat from cubic effect - i have one in black but i had to run to the shop (in my undies) to grab a red one just for this.  and then i added these really cute shoes from TOSL in red with white dots.  then i ran to chouchou to catch some rays and some solitude.

bikini and belt:  Kyoot Army
shoes:  TOSL
skin:  Blowpop
hair: Detour

then after getting a little chilly when the sun went down, and moving into Autumn (Fall) mode i came across this really cute jacket and skirt number....  the jacket has an amazing detail to the collar area, with KA's signature one sided shoulder piece.  this would work great with jeans, trousers and all manner of skirts.... i then teamed it with the new KA hair.....

and i cant resist showing it with this hair too from Bish....... not my usual style, but love the hat part... its fitting for my autumnal look...

jacket: Kyoot Army
skirt (just seen):  Kyoot Army
stockings:  Chambre du Chocolat
hair: (first pic) Kyoot Army, (second pic) Bish
skin: Blowpop

then for my next look, this is Clara being taken away to a padded cell and locked away for a few days to ease the pain of her credit card... rehab needed....

Kyoot Army call this 'Straight Jacket Surrealist'.  no other explanation need really for this one.  although a little tip - dont wear this to the supermarket!  again with the signature one-sided collar detail, this is a nod to the Wilted Wednesday outfit that Minnu Palen adopted for her Mourning Dress.  Looks great with the Dahlia skin from MiaSnow.

dress:  Kyoot Army
boots:  Stiletto Moody
hair: Maitreya
skin: MiaSnow
jewellery:  RYCA

Once released from rehab, i needed something to hide myself away a little, and this outfit does the trick perfectly!

a beautiful sheer top with attached hood, and attached hair!  very light and sexy, but hides a multitude of sins!  teamed with these georgous 'pantaloons' and my favourite Pornstar boots, sling on the shades and out i go....... of course the car screeching past me into a pile up didnt do much for the nerves, so had a little sit down,  a time to think ......

top, hood and hair:  Kyoot Army
pants:  Kyoot Army

it took me a while to get over this shopping trip which lead to rehab then witnessing a car accident.  so i took to hiding in hoodies for a while longer......

except this time, you'll be pleased to know, it didnt cost me anything.  yes this little gem can be picked up for free, yes thats a FREEBIE! from Bewitched Hair.  i love the way the hair pokes right out of the hood.

hood, hair and jumper:  Bewitched Hair
shades:  Armidi Gisaci 'Aviators'
