A Must For The Coming Season! - Tres Beau "Winter Whites"

Kimmera Madison of Tres Beau has made another wonderful outfit set, which is a must buy for this coming fall/winter season called Winter Whites. It's a pants suit that comes with a winter jacket and a coat, a fedora and matching gloves that look so warm and stylish that I must confess, I have been wearing this for almost 5 days straight! The set comes in three colours, white, blue and red and here I am wearing the white version.

Tres Beau - Winter Whites

You can change the jacket prim part to make it a long coat and since both the jacket and the coat are made with the jacket layer, you can match it to other outfits you have. The fedora and gloves can also be used quite easily with other outfits you have too and this is why I thought this set is so versatile and a must buy for the coming season.

I loved the colour also as it is a colour better described as "off-white" rather than white and together with the nice texture Kimmera used, it brings on a very soft and elegant image to the entire look.

I matched it with jewelry and shoes in soft brown colours to complement the elegant image of the outfit. I must say, it's not easy to find nice formal jewelry in brown but Virtual Impressions has several sets in pearl that is made in brown also and for this outfit, I chose the Madison Jewelry Set in Chocolate Pearls which consists of a choker part and a long strand of pearls in one necklace.

The Latest Release From B!Fashion

Barbarella Cioc has come up with yet another wonderful design! It is a lovely outfit called "Bambolina" in fuscia for which she launched a navy blue version also. She also launched a new enamel ankle boots which has a ribbon that comes in various colours. Of course, as usual, she has generously included the boots with fuscia ribbons in the set so the outfit and the ribbon on the boots have exact matching colours.

B!Fashion - Bambolina in Fuscia

Here I am wearing the fuscia version of Bambolina with the ankle boots that was included in the set. The day I was wearing this, I had several people message me asking me where I got the boots that had ribbons that matched the outfit colour so perfectly and I had to confess that it was a no-effort-styling look with the matching boots included! These boots can be purchased separately too and are offered with ribbons in different colours. Being an avid fan of ankle boots both in real life and SL, these were boots I could not pass!

Bambolina can be worn with or without the long skirt that is attached to the back and if worn without, the outfit becomes a very cute cocktail dress with a ruffled skirt. Worn with the long skirt, it becomes a gorgeous gown with the frontal part open to reveal the legs. The long skirt has a layer of lovely black lace under the top layer of silky fuscia and a large ribbon that sits on top of the hip. So when worn, it gives the outfit a very burlesque kind of an image, making this a really fancy and sexy outfit for a party.

Here I wore this dress with hair from Violator, a face tattoo from White Widow and a gorgeous set of black mabe pearl jewelry from Crystal Line where my Japanese model friend Rena Vita creates some lovely jewelry, to add to the playful and burlesque image.

Violator is known for soraya Vaher's unconventional designs and the earlier hair she introduced were so unconventional and wild that it was rather difficult to style them with other designer outfits. But as you can see from this hair, the recent hair she has been introducing can be worn perfectly with other brands and look really good to.

White Widow has become one of my newest favorites with face tattoos* as Julie Hastings, who I had always known as a great photographer, used her photo shop skills to create some of the most feminine and lovely face tattoos you can find. They are very elegant, detailed and comes in various colours you can choose from as well as tattoos that cover both eyes, left eye only and right eye only depending on the design. Here I am wearing the right eye version of Capucine in silver.
*Face tattoos can be worn with SL official Viewer 2 or equivalent third party viewers.

The jewelry set is made with black pearls and black "mabe" pearls. Mabe pearls are basically cultured blister pearls that have grown attached to the shell of the mollusk. They are known for their super size but flat shape making them perfect pearls to be used as pendant tops and brooches. This set also comes as a white pearl version and as in many items made by Japanese jewelry creators, includes non-scripted versions, versions with resize scripts, chokers attached to the spine and ones attached to the chest. It also comes with A type designs that have the gold ring ornament around the mabe pearls and B type designs that don't have this and therefore are just black. So you will be surprised to see the large number of pieces that are included in one set but I love how the creator really thinks of what customers might need. Here, I am using the type A designs.

Outfit: B!Fashion, Bambolina Fucsia
Choker, earrings, ring: Crystal Line, Mabe Pearl Accessory Set
Ankle Boots: Included in the set (but can be purchased separately and in other colours)
Face tattoo: White Widow, Capucine (silver)
Hair: Violator, Rough Attitude (shiny black)

Kunglers "Ellis" - Elegance & Glam In Brown

Who would have thought that brown could be so glam!

"Ellis" in chocolate by Kunglers Couture was honestly a surprise for me as I always liked brown as one of the colours that could make a very elegant look. The chocolate gown from Kunglers Couture was not only elegant but oh so glamorous as the top layer of the imperial skirt had the right amount of glitter with a hue of blue. The neckline of this gown is decorated with big ruffles that remind me of the ancient gowns, giving this otherwise simple gown a nice balance in terms of top and bottom volume.

Kunglers Couture - Ellis in Chocolate

What I liked most about this gown is the beautiful silhouette it created especially when viewed from the side and back which is why I just had to add one extra pic of the entire gown just so that I could show what I meant.

I just love this silhouette!

The jewelry I am wearing with this gown is from R.A. Crystal, where my very good friend, Rama Anatine, creates some of the most creative jewelry in Second Life. This set is called "Julie Set" in amber and gold which comes with a resizeable necklace, a pair of matching earrings and a hair comb. It is quite rare to see jewelry sets that include a hair comb and I think this set is perfect for those who are looking for something a little different from the usual sets that we see often in Second Life consisting of a necklace, earrings and bracelet.

R.A. Crystal, "Julie Set" in Amber & Gold
and Candy Nail, #P045 Swallowtail in Gold

The gold prim nails are from Candy Nail, another Japanese store that I like very much. Nail art is quite popular in real life Japan and tend to have lots of elaborate decoration just as you see in this one that I am wearing. In real life, people either buy fake nails that they can glue on to their real nails or actually have very long nails on which they get the decoration painted on. I happen to have very long nails in real life and LOVE nail art myself. :)

Outfit: Kunglers Couture, Ellis (chocolate)
Necklace, earrings, hair comb: R.A.Crystal, Julie Set (amber & gold)
Prim nails: Candy Nail, #P045 Swallowtail (gold)
Hair: Bliss Hair, Monica (caviar)

Tres Beau, "Tiffany" - A Dress Made Of Roses

June had always been the month for weddings but autumn is another good season for those who can't wait till June and it also means you can spend the coming Christmas as a wed couple. :) So I thought I might show a most romantic dress that was just released from Tres Beau Designs and Weddings.

Tres Beau - "Tiffany"

"Tiffany" by Tres Beau is one of the most romantic, sweet and versatile outfits in the current SL fashion. It is not really sold as a wedding gown and it comes with a knee length skirt, a midi length skirt and a long train all made with lots of what looks like flower petals. You have the choice of wearing the skirts with a big pink rose in the back or without and the combination of different skirts make this a dress one that can be worn as a lovely cocktail dress as well as a wedding gown for brides who want something romantic but different from the typical wedding gowns in the market.

Worn with a short skirt

What I loved the most about using this dress for weddings is that the colour is not white. It is "almost" white but has a delicate and subtle pink hue to the shade as you can see in the pics.

Worn with the long skirt

The prim parts are all resizeable including the big pink rose head piece and here, I made it slightly smaller to keep a better balance with the hair I wore. But the impact of this rose is still quite significant and by changing the size as well as the position of the rose, you can arrange it to develop your own style. For example, you can even wear it horizontally positioned over a more avant garde hair style if you prefer a sharper and different look.

Worn with a train

Kimmera Madison, the designer of Tres Beau, is known as one of the most well established designers in SL, having been designing wonderful creations including many stunning wedding gowns since 2004 and the quality of her dresses as well as the attention to details never cease to impress me.

Outfit: Tres Beau Designs and Weddings, Tiffany
Jewelry: Virtual Impressions, Rebecca Jewelry Set in Pearls, Ruby and Diamonts (used earrings only)
Nails: Candy Nail, #P034 Hime in Pink
Hair: Bliss Hair, Monica (caviar)
Shoes: Stiletto Moody, Pinup (blush)

Unique Designs From Finesmith Jewelry For A Fun Look

The latest release from Finesmith Jewelry is a very avant garde set called "O Collection 03" which combines gems and metal to create a very unique design. Of course, you don't have to buy all three pieces as a set and you can buy all the pieces separately or use it as a complete set. Here I used all three: necklace, bracelet and earrings but wore only one of the bracelets on one wrist instead of both right and left wrists. The gems are colour change, allowing the set to be used with different coloured outfits.

Finesmith Jewelry - O Collection 03

The jewelry set is really amazing but because of the impact it has, it can clash with a likewise impactful outfit and end up being a bit too much. So I chose to wear something modern and sharp, while not being too "loud".

The boots I chose are from the latest collection from Paper Couture and although these boots do also have some impact, it is far enough from the jewelry pieces not to interfere too much and I like how it adds some fun to the entire look.

The short pants are from Miamai and it comes with a micro short version, a slightly longer version and also a silver underpants layer panty that I am wearing here. Here I am wearing the slightly longer version so you can tell how micro short the short version is!

The theme was a fun club look that I can wear to go dancing. :)

Necklace, bracelet & earrings: Finesmith Jewelry, O Collection 03
Corset: Dreams, Animal Print Corset (cheetah dark black)
Short pants: Miamai, Hotpants 01 (steel)
Boots: Paper Couture, Typhoon Boots (purple)
Hair: Maitreya, Aisha II (ebony)
