New Release: GizzA, Tricot Set

GizzA Creations' newest release is called Tricot Set that comes in four colour variations, Ultramarine, Champagne, Olive and Plume.

Here I am wearing Ultramarine which is a very deep blue that can be better described as a deep cobalt blue rather than navy blue.  It looks like it's black here but it is actually a very pretty and very dark blue.  It comes with a red leather belt and the red/white scarf with a matching colour corsage.

I decided to style this with a large tote bag and get ready for a fun shopping tour over the weekend.  Yay!  Retail therapy is always the best!

SoliDea FoliEs "Rouges" for Fan Limited

Mila Tatham's brand SoliDea FoliEs has an amazing new release called "Rouges" which was sold as the 7th Edition outfit in the Fan Limited Store.

This store has a very unique system where some of the major brands would release outfits/accessories for a 50% discount over regular prices for one item each over a duration of three weeks.  During this period, only 30 of each item will be sold and after that, the items can still be purchased in the respective stores but the prices will go up to regular prices.  If the 30 are sold out before the end of the three week period, the vendors will show "SOLD OUT" signs and you will have to wait till the three weeks are up and go to the main store to purchase them at regular prices.

After this three week period, the next Edition sets will be on sale for another three weeks.

SoliDea FoliEs - Rouges

At the time I purchased this outfit at the Fan Limited Store, there were only 3 left but since I bought one, that means there were only two left after my purchase.  So maybe they are all sold out by now but you can still buy this at the SoliDea FoliEs store, if you really like it.

For me, this was an outfit I just had to buy.  The red used for this outfit was simply so pretty and the design so cute and lovely that I didn't even think twice!  The hat you see here comes with the outfit and for a hat lover like me, this outfit was simply irresistable!

New Release: Mea Culpa, Time Warp

Mea Culpa has released a new gown called "Time Warp"!

I am assuming the name comes from the head accessory which must be inspired from the shape of a Japanese Kabuto (head gear in Japanese armours worn by the head samurais) in the samurai days.

In contrast to the valiant head accessory, the outfit is a very elegant mermaid gown, making this outfit very appealing and interesting to style.

Meiling - More From The Grand Riviere Collection

Real life designer, Meiling, launched her RL Spring/Summer Collection "Grand Riviere" recently starting off with her promotional garment Wind Song Dress, which I blogged about in this blog.

Now she has launched more from this all-white collection which has gathered much press coverage and excitement in RL and we are seeing more coming into SL!

Here, I will introduce two of such most recent SL launched the White Peony Gown and the Mt. Plaisir Dress.  Although they are all different in design, the simple, clean and yet elegant style that Meiling is known for is inherited in her SL collections.

The White Peony Gown is a very simple gown seen from the front but the back of the gown is all covered with flowers made from the same material and positively betrays our expectation by presenting a gorgeous and elegant look.  This gown is most likely best styled by keeping the rest a simple and clean as the frontal view.

A New Release from Glitterati by Sapphire - Alisha Coffee

Glitterati by Sapphire with designer Sapphire Teebrook has just released "Alisha Coffee" on July 3.  It is a casual set that includes a corduroy type tube top, a short jacket in cream colour and three types of corduroy type pants that you can style; slim pants, boot cut and capri pants.  Of course you can style this with or without the jacket and with different pants so it a very versatile set with a very good value.

Glitterati by Sapphire - Alisha Coffee

Here I styled the slim pants with the short jacket and wore another new items from Glitterati that was released together with the outfit set, which is the really cute sneaker type ankle boots that I am wearing here in the pics.

This outfit set is sold for a discounted 199L for a few days and the ankle boots are offered for a whopping 75% group discount for a limited time also.  So run and grab them now before the limited sales is over!!

I matched these with a hat from LeLutka, a really nice casual tote bag from Boom and also a new type of jewelry released from ByKay.  These Cleo Jewelry were created by KayLeigh McMillan with special care taken to keep the ARC (Avatar Rendering Cost) down.  So this new low ARC jewelry will be perfect items to wear to heavy-lag events and fashion shows.  KayLeigh will be releasing more designs in her low-ARC jewelry series so these are definitely worth keeping an eye on.

New Release from the Niven Collection - Paint Splash Dress

A cute dress that's full of colours is out from the Niven Collection with designer Scarlett Niven.    This is such a fun outfit with so many different ways you can style it!

Being a big fan of colours who love to play with different colour combinations, I decided to do the same with this outfit.

The outfit comes with two skirt types; one sheer and one solid colour versions.  It also comes with a top with sleeves or no sleeves and you can also choose to wear a collar, collar with broach, only broach or nothing at all.  So possibilities are endless!

 

Here I wore it with the solid skirt, no sleeve tank type top and wore only the broach.  I changed the attachment point of the broach, however, from left to right shoulder to avoid the hair.  This hair, by the way, is another new hair that was released from Bliss Hair for Hair Fair.

Mashooka Designs - Suhana

I went to visit my good friend and designer, Aradhana Voight to her store, Mashooka Designs and before I left the store, found this lovely summery outfit "Suhana" in the New Release items area.  I got the Grape colour and decided to style it a bit differently.

Suhana is a very cute outfit that uses silky printed fabric.  Something that is very fun to style during the hot summer season.

The metallic glitter tights that I wore here was a freebie offered in a store called G L A M which I obtained some time ago.  I still treasure this set as it is a set of tintable tights that you can add any colour you like by editing it.

I matched this with a new release from Mandala, called "Milky Way" which is offered only in white, as the name suggests.  And the shoes are a new release from Pixel Fashion.  The killer pin heel comes in several shades which you can change with a menu.
