If you're like me and sometimes want to wear sweet and cute clothes, a store by desinger Mallu Mayo called Reale is a place to go shopping! The moment you step in, you'll scream with excitement. Lots and lots of sweet clothes and beautiful colours will jump in your eyes (ok....I mean, once the place is rezzed of course). What is so great about this store is that the outfits are sweet but never "over done" and are also stylish at the same time. I know you have come across some stores that are just cutey pies with no taste so I'm sure you know what I am talking about.
What is the best about Reale is that the prices are so reasonable. You can come out with a big smile on your face if you had 200L, which also means that if you have more, there is a high probability that you will be walking out with more than one outfit as it's so hard to decide on just one in this store.
So today, I have the Floratta Long Dress with pansies. This is a rare long dress here as most of the outfits are short but not rediculously short as a lot of the outfits in SL are. I must admit, I really don't like the short short prim skirts that spread out like ballet costumes. Maybe it's because I saw too many of these as a newbie. They just look unreal and unnatural.
The Floratta Long Dress comes in four different flower colours although the base colour is always white. Purple (the one I am showing here), pink, orange and red. All colour variations are so lovely and for those who can't make up their mind, of course, there is a fat pack available. (lol)
Outfit: Reale, Floratta Long Dress (pansies)
Bangles: Persona, Bangles (violets)
Nails: Love Soul, Nail Silver Gradation (purple)
Shoes: Phoenix Rising, Bow Flats (white)
Hair: 69, Model Hair 02 (off black)
Skin: Exodi, Genesis Candace Apple, Bouquet

Having Fun With Styling - Amanda Bolero Mix
I found this really interesting skin from a small skin store and decided to have some fun styling using this skin.
So I took two separate sets from Amanda Bolero and mixed the two and matched this really cute (or rather.....odd?) hair with a bird's nest by Clawtooth by Clawtooth. I love it when I find interesting items from small stores like these. These may not be gigantic stores with lots of choices but you can really come across some jewels in smaller shops.
This skin and hair were perfect examples. The skin is a really interesting one with no brows, lots of freckles and pinkish cheeks. But the overall look when used right was very couture and elegant, as well as sweet. Since I found this, I have been using this skin quite often.
The hair comes with blue birds, but you can purchase other colours as options. So these pink birdies were not the default birdies that came with the hair but so perfect for this look. The creator includes a notecard in the set assuring you that these birdies won't "poop" on your head!
As for the outfit, the cute shorts I have on came with a tank top which made the whole thing look more casual. So I changed it with this somewhat metallic looking top which is a very versatile top that can match pants as well as skirts and have an effect to turn most looks into a couture look.
Top: Bolero C0llection, Giubbottino Pink Metal (jacket only)
Shorts: Bolero Collection, Estivo Rosa (shorts only)
Bangles: RYCA, Texture Change Bangle (silver)
Earrings: Chloe, Shards Set (platinum)
boots: Courtisane, Allumeuse Boots (snow)
Hair: Clawtooth by Clawtooth, A Place To Call Home
Skin: Fashionably Dead, Bird Skin

A Fun Outfit From KOKO, "Street"
I was in a fashion show for KOKO designed by Anna Rokocoko recently and out of the outfits I wore in the show, I liked this one so much that I decided to blog about it. It is an outfit called "Street" that is a one piece dress with a low waist skirt. The reason why I liked it so much was because it was a kind of an outfit that makes styling so fun and the low waist skirt as well as the high rised collar makes it look very stylish!!
Since the outfit was all black, I decided to play with a black and red coordination.
So here I matched it up with a red hat from the Loren Collection from Couture Chapeau that has been released recently. It is a collection of hats based on RL hats that the great actress Sofia Loren has worn made by Chhigadee London. She has so many stylish hats in her store but her Loren Collection is really worth a mention for those who like hats. AND her hats don't attach to your nose so they don't remove your prim lashes! That had always been my issue and I had to re-attach most hats to my mouth or chin because I wanted to wear both my lashes and hat. With Chigadee's hats, you don't have to worry about this. Yaaaay!! She has a blog where you can check out more of her hats and outfits.
Next, I matched a black and red purse from the House of Nyla. This bag is not a new release but it is a fun collection of bags that is very well thought out. For each set, you get three different sizes named evening bag, day bag and overnighter and all of these three types come in those held in your left hand as well as right hand. The one I am using in the pics here is the mid-sized day bag.
I was also looking for a pair of red boots that gave me that 1960's look and I found them at Kookie. The outfit comes with an ankle length pair of lace stockings so I thought a long or ankle length boots will be a good match. And finally big sunglasses from Mokotika in red completed this look that is classic, elegant and stylish!!
Outfit: KOKO, Street
Laced Stockings: Included in KOKO's "Street"
Purse: House of Nyla, Red & Black Plaid Handbag (day bag)
Earrings: Lucas Lameth, Chakra Necklace & Earring, Boho Bead Red (used earrings only)
Sunglasses: Mokotika, Fly Sunglasses (red)
Boots: Kookie, Dolly (red)

Perfect For Parties Both Formal And Fun!
Sascha's Designs has a new outfit released called "All That Jazz." What a fun name!! It already makes you think of all the fun times you can have with the outfit. :D
And my expectations are not betrayed with the set that Sascha offers in this package. It comes in seven colours but here I am wearing the one colour coded as silver. All colours come with black skirts and it's the glitter part where the colour changes. But no matter what colour you choose, you are assured of getting lots of glitters thats done in a very tasteful style.
It has a long sleek skirt which I chose to wear with a boa collar that is also included and a shirt type that give you more exposure. This look can be described as sexy and glam. Here I tried wearing some necklace which I can if I attach it to spine as the boa is attached to chest. But with this boa, it seemed a bit "too much" so I decided to wear only earrings and a bracelet. I love wearing bracelets over gloves, in fact. I think it makes the whole outfit look rather elegant, but again, it depends on the outfit design.
Since the skirt is not a big one, I chose a hair that is a bit voluminous but still formal. This
one I used is a very recent release from Exile which moved to a new location. So any Exile fans out there, remember to take the surl below to go and grap a new LM if you haven't yet.
Next, I wore the short skirt that was also in the set. So I changed the shirt to the other shirt that was in the set that has less exposure with a halter tank underneith. So this time, the boa collar goes. Now I have a fun look that will be great for fun parties at a club. By the way, there is also two cute "patches" that are called "nipple hider" given as an undershirt layer. So if you really feel daring, you can just wear those for maximum effect too! (What maximum effect? giggles)
Aha and skin!! This is one from the new skin line "CANA" that just came out from Lion Skins last night. Each skin tone has 19 makeups as gorgeous and daring as always. The body contour is great too. As a user of fair skin, I've been told so many times from skin makers that getting a contour for fair skins is the hardest and achieving it in darker tones is easier. That's quite understandable as it must be easier to add highlights and shades on darker colours. So with CANA skins, Lion Jonesford had been working hard to come to the rescue and I'm very happy with the results.
Outfit: Sascha's Designs, All That Jazz (silver)
Earrings & Bracelet: Bandit Jewelry, Akita Black Pearl
Shoes: Styles of edo, EIRIS (black)
Hair: Exile, Pamela (8ball)
Skin: Lion Skins, CANA Fair 12
With short skirt:
Hair: Bish Wear, Gilli (midnight black)
Shoes: JPB Bandit Bandit Jewelry, Galaxy Black Boots

Simply GORGEOUS! Mashooka Designs
Mashooka Designs is a brand that any fashionista will crave for. Designer Aradhana Voight has started designing outfits that inherit her Indian heritage when she couldn't find India inspired outfits two years ago. Since then, she has merged the Indian design elements with those of Western outfits, creating fabulous outfits both Indian and Western that have the same rich and realistic textures. In May of this year, she opened her new main store in her own sim, to commemorate her second anniversary as a designer and now have two wings to the store, each filled with stunning designs with Indian heritage and Western in the respective wings.
This wedding season, Aradhana created absolutely gorgeous jewelry which has its roots in royal or extremely high status Indian weddings. The gold set was first released but it has been added with a silver set to match any outfit colour or personal taste.
The gold set was originally created after a 18th century jewelry based on a movie "Jodhaa Akbar" and the detail and the intricacy of the design left me quite speechless. The whole set comprises of an amazing 16 piece set, that leaves you with almost no attachment point left without a jewelry piece. However, for those who prefer not to wear the whole set, the pieces can be purchased separately so it will also be easier to match certain pieces with Western formal outfits.
This jewelry has such history behind it, it might be worthwhile checking the brief history in Aradhana's blog for Mashooka Designs as she has a page dedicated to this jewelry. Of course, it would be quite difficult, or rather impossible, to own such elaborate jewelry in real life, so I was so thankful that I was in SL which enabled me to even have a glimpse of what it would be like to own such grand work of craftsmanship and art.
Here I am showing both the gold-ruby set and the silver-amber set matched with different Indian outfit. The gold set is worn with a deep and rich red Indian costume that is, in itself, such a noble and grand outfit. It comes with a head veil that you can use as an option (not worn here) and I must say that it fulfilled my dream of wearing an elegant saree.
And Aradhana has jewelry as well as matching outfits for the groom too!
This silver set is worn with another Indian outfit which is equally stunning, Kativa Gharara, which comes in three colours, blue, yellow and pink. Here I am wearing the yellow one which, compared to the rich deep red of the Jodhaa Princess Gharara, has a very light and refreshing look. The two are so different although both fabulous in their own ways and both matching very well with these awesome jewelry sets.
One thing I do wish to mention aside from the gorgeous jewelry is the quality of the texture of the outfits. The very intricate and detailed pattern of Indian fabric is so well recreated here with a smooth silky feel of the material, that it will not do the outfits justice if they do get mentioned.
And for those who are thinking....."well I won't be wearing a saree," there are plenty of non-Indian outfits too in which Aradhana makes use of the same skills she has used to create these.
Red outfit with gold jewelry:
Saree: Mashooka Designs, Jodhaa Princess Gharara
Jewelry: Mashooka Designs, Jodhaa Rajput Jewels

Yellow outfit with silver jewelry:
